About Leanne
Leanne is passionate about providing a supportive supervision environment that facilitates professional and personal growth. She is committed to safe and ethical practice and believes the supervision process should positively impact on the clinician, their clients and their employer.
Leanne qualified as a social worker in 1995 and she has a rich and varied professional background. She has been privileged with opportunities to provide clinical and professional supervision to a wide range of supervisees including qualified social workers, managers, clinical leaders, allied health professionals, NGO staff and social work students.
Leanne has worked largely in the health and disability sector, complemented by experience in community mental health, child and youth services coordination, and community development. She has extensive experience in management roles, including the leadership of social work and multi-disciplinary teams and the coordination of non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Leanne also has experience in delivering training programmes to staff, leaders and volunteers.
Leanne has a strong commitment to her own professional development and has completed post-grad study in professional supervision. She attends regular training and her own monthly supervision.
The ANZASW Code of Ethics and the Supervisor Practice Standards underpin her professional supervision practice.
